"In Praise of Children Lord you have made these children as varied as the flowers of a garden. You have blessed each one uniquely. Each fragile, growing child is infinitely precious in your sight. You have trusted me to nurture them and blessed me with the joy of seeing them grow. Lord, I teach in reverence".
Preschool Curriculum
Preschoolers are usually most responsive to activities in which they are involved in a hands on manner. Our teachers agree with this and design their classroom spaces with learning centers at which the children can freely choose whether to participate and for how long. Our quality staff add and rotate materials frequently to extend a child's interest. Often our teachers create their own games and materials if commercial ones do not meet the needs of the children. Young children seem to learn best when trained teachers build on interests and abilities of the children. The preschool curriculum includes activities centering on communications, science, math, music, art, large and small motor skills. Our curriculum also focuses on the social and emotional development of the child.
